Shaping cyber security culture: Moving beyond awareness
May 16, 2025 - ViaFormance recently contributed to the Digital Trust Center community event with a session on how Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) can help organizations shape their cybersecurity culture.
Many organizations invest heavily in awareness initiatives to improve cybersecurity culture, yet struggle to achieve lasting behavior change. Using real-life cybersecurity cases from participants, the session explained three common pitfalls that prevent organizations from influencing secure behavior effectively and demonstrated how the OBM protocol can help build a stronger and more resilient cybersecurity culture.
